Job Description

Cluster Financial Manager | Luxury Hotel Group | Cape Town

Salary: R60,000 R70,000 Negotiable DOE
Live-out Position
Candidate Location: Preferably Cape Town, alternatively Johannesburg or Durban

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Cluster Financial Manager to lead the finance function across multiple luxury hotels. This senior role is ideal for a proactive finance professional with multi-property experience in the hospitality sector, capable of delivering strategic financial leadership and operational excellence.

Key Requirements:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum 5+ years financial management experience, preferably in hospitality
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Leadership experience managing finance teams
Proficiency in financial reporting systems and hotel management software
Ability to work independently while aligning with corporate financial objectives

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership & Strategy

Lead the finance function across three hotels, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control strategies
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with compliance standards
Monitor cash flow, capital expenditure, and financial risks
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies

Collaboration & Team Development

Partner with General Managers and Heads of Department to support strategic decision-making and optimise profitability
Lead and develop finance teams at each property, ensuring best practices across the cluster
Mentor staff to strengthen skills, knowledge, and performance

Proactive and able to handle high-pressure situations
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
