Job Description
Hire Resolves client in Heavy Engineering industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced CNC Team Leader to join their team in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- To monitor production rates and take the appropriate intervention when output does not meet set targets.
- Ensure that production processes meet specified requirements.
- To monitor production quality in accordance with Procedures and Work instructions and institute the necessary interventions to achieve the required quality.
- To ensure that employees comply with safety instructions and regulations and correct any unsafe conditions.
- To ensure that agreed standard of housekeeping is maintained.
- Comfortable dealing with IR related issues.
- To undergo any training as identified and deemed necessary to fulfill the above position.
- Liaise with supportive departments as required to resolve any problems in your area.
- Optimization of CNC programs and to ensure best practice is followed.
- Training and development of team members as per the skills matrix plan.
- Developing and updating of SOPs.
- CNC programming using relevant software _ CNC Lathes, Milling Machines, Mill/Turn and Swiss Type Machines.
- Ensure CNC programs are met.
- Ensure relevant management process such as daily employee timesheets, production and quality visual board, scrap report etc. are followed.
Requirements:
- Trade: Fitter & Turner Minimum 10 years of related experience, preferably in the Mechanical industry
