Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled BI Analyst-Developer to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and hands-on experience across multiple areas of Business Intelligence and cloud-based data solutions. This role requires a resourceful professional capable of developing, maintaining, and optimizing data solutions, as well as adapting to emerging Azure and cloud technologies to meet evolving business needs.


  • Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and maintain Business Intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Design, implement, and optimize data warehousing structures to support analytics and reporting requirements.
  • Build and manage ETL processes, ensuring efficient, accurate, and reliable data flows.
  • Develop cubes, semantic models, and patterns to enable efficient multidimensional analysis.
  • Utilize SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
  • Build, enhance, and optimize Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for cloud-based data integration and transformation.
  • Continuously learn and implement new Azure / cloud tools and functionalities, including but not limited to Elastic Pools, Big Data services, and other modern data technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing BI solutions for performance, reliability, and maintainability.


Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a BI Developer / Analyst in designing and developing BI solutions.
  • Strong experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and SSIS development.
  • Hands-on experience with cubes, semantic models, and multidimensional modeling.
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and cloud-based data integration tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new Azure / cloud technologies and apply them effectively.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as Elastic Pools, Big Data, or similar services, is a plus.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate) are advantageous.
