About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled and responsible Dispatch Clerk to join their team at a furniture company in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to prioritize orders for dispatch
- Inspect and verify all outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and quality
- Pack orders securely and label them properly for shipping
- Coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Document all outgoing orders in the system and maintain accurate records
- Communicate with customers to provide tracking information and resolve any issues
- Assist with inventory management and stock control as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- 1 + years of Dispatch/Warehouse supervisory experience
- Sage Pastel experience
- Computer Literate Word, Excel, Outlook & Google Sheets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy furniture items
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (preferred)
