Job Description
Responsibilities:
Client, Server, and Storage Implementation
- Design and deploy client, server, and storage solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Install, configure, and optimize client devices, servers, SANs, and NAS systems.
- Implement server virtualization and high-availability solutions.
- Ensure proper integration of storage solutions with backup and disaster recovery systems.
Infrastructure Maintenance and Support
- Perform regular health checks and maintenance of server and storage systems.
- Monitor performance and ensure the uptime of critical infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues related to servers and storage.
- Manage firmware and software updates to maintain compliance and performance.
Customer Engagement and Support
- Work closely with clients to understand infrastructure requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on server and storage systems.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues.
Vendor and Partner Collaboration
- Engage with vendor support teams for issue resolution and technical guidance.
- Leverage vendor tools and resources to optimize deployments and support.
- Maintain compliance with vendor certification and partnership requirements.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, deployments, and changes.
- Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and project progress.
- Provide technical documentation and training materials for internal teams.
Certifications and Compliance
- Ensure professional certifications for relevant server and storage technologies are up to date.
- Assist in achieving and maintaining vendor partnership certifications.
- Monitor industry trends to recommend new certifications or technologies beneficial to Diopoint.
Performance Optimization and Scalability
- Analyze and optimize system performance to meet current and future demands.
- Recommend upgrades or changes to infrastructure to enhance scalability and efficiency.
Collaboration and Team Support
- Work collaboratively with other engineers, project managers, and sales teams to deliver solutions.
- Share knowledge and expertise to develop team capabilities.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as Dell EMC, HPE ASE/ATP, Huawei HCIA/HCIP, VMware, or equivalent.

At least 5 years of experience in server and storage implementation and support.

Proven expertise in server virtualization, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and backup solutions.

Hands-on experience with technologies from Dell, HPE, and Huawei.

In-depth knowledge of server and storage architectures and technologies.

Proficiency in virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
