Job Description

In this role, you will assist in maintaining financial records related to rental properties and real estate transactions. Your responsibilities will include processing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential financial reports. You will work closely with senior accountants and property managers to ensure that all financial activities are accurately recorded and compliant with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist in recording and managing financial transactions related to rental properties
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare financial reports and summaries for property management
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Collaborate with property managers and accounting team
Maintain accurate records of rental income and expenses

Requirements:

Matric
Some previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in real estate
Knowledge of accounting principles and real estate financial practices
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., PAYPROP)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Bilingual (Afrikaans/English Fluent)
Candidates With PayProp or Pivot Tables Experience will be preferred.

Benefits:

Salary: R10 000 – R15 000
