About the Role
Optential Consulting is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist/Driver to join our team in Cape Town. As the first point of contact for visitors and clients, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while also handling administrative tasks and driving duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist all visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Handle incoming phone calls, messages, and email communication
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-organised
- Coordinate the collection, delivery, and filing of documents as required
- Support administrative staff with day-to-day office duties
- Maintain accurate internal filing systems and log incoming correspondence and nominations
- Carry out driving duties for office-related errands and approved assignments
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and ensure routine upkeep
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Matric) – essential
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in a receptionist, client-facing, or administrative support role
- Previous experience handling errands or transport responsibilities within a professional setting preferred
- Knowledge of how to manage sensitive documentation and maintain confidentiality
- Valid South African driver’s license (manual transmission preferred)
- Dependable, punctual, and able to exercise sound discretion
