About the Role
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician/Service Technician to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. As an experienced technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving faults on-site for cooling, heating, and HVAC systems, as well as performing preventive and scheduled maintenance to keep installations reliable and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve urgent faults on-site for cooling, heating, and HVAC systems
- Carry out repair work on boilers, pumps, chillers, heat pumps, and related mechanical installations
- Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance to keep installations reliable and efficient
Requirements
- Minimum NQF Level 4–5 qualification in mechanical, and/or refrigeration technology (or equivalent)
- Completed Red Seal trade qualification
- At least 4-years’ relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably within large residential or commercial buildings
- Proven experience working on cooling and heating systems for buildings, including boilers
