Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician/Service Technician to join our client’s team in Cape Town, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and/or refrigeration technology, with relevant work experience in large residential or commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve urgent faults on-site for cooling, heating, and HVAC systems
Carry out repair work on boilers, pumps, chillers, heat pumps, and related mechanical installations
Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance to keep installations reliable and efficient

Requirements

Minimum NQF Level 4–5 qualification in mechanical, and/or refrigeration technology (or equivalent)
Completed Red Seal trade qualification
At least 4-years’ relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably within large residential or commercial buildings
Proven experience working on cooling and heating systems for buildings, including boilers
