About the Role
As Mama Shelter’s IT / Systems Manager, you are the unseen force making sure everything stays connected, online, and running smoothly so the magic never stops. You don’t just fix systems — you protect the heartbeat of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep all critical systems running 24/7 — Front Office PMS, F&B systems, guest Wi-Fi, and all operational tech with zero disruption
- Quickly troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, and networks — keeping downtime to an absolute minimum
- Ensure strong, stable, and secure network infrastructure across the hotel — because Mama never goes offline
- Support all hotel departments (Sales, Finance, Talent & Culture, etc.) with their systems, tools, and applications
- Work closely with external IT suppliers and corporate teams — managing maintenance agreements and ensuring top performance
- Maintain strong system security, backups, and data protection protocols — keeping guest and business information safe at all times
- Train team members across departments to confidently use systems and tools — making tech simple for everyone
- Continuously audit, improve, and standardise systems across the hotel — spotting issues before they become problems
- Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, licenses, and supplier lists
- Assist guests with IT-related needs — always with speed, patience, and a smile
- Work closely with all departments to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruption to service
Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent qualification
- You have 3–5 years’ experience in a hospitality IT or systems role
- You understand networks, Wi-Fi systems, servers, and cloud environments
- You’re confident with systems like PMS, POS, and hospitality tech platforms
