Spa Therapist – Luxury Boutique Hotel | Cape Town Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced Spa Therapist to join a luxury boutique hotel in Cape Town. This live-out role requires a professional and dedicated individual to deliver exceptional spa treatments and uphold the highest standards of guest care. Position Overview The Spa Therapist will provide expert spa treatments, consultations, and product recommendations in line with the hotel’s spa philosophy. The role involves maintaining hygiene standards, managing bookings, and contributing to a seamless and memorable guest experience. Key Responsibilities Deliver spa treatments and bodywork, including massage therapies, to the highest standards. Conduct expert skin consultations and analysis, advising guests on appropriate treatments and products. Uphold spa philosophy and service protocols in all daily operations. Manage spa bookings, appointments, and maintain accurate client records. Follow stock control procedures and maintain spa inventory. Ensure accurate billing for spa services in line with hotel procedures. Participate in daily briefings and strategy meetings with management. Promote spa services to guests in public areas and during appropriate interactions. Maintain all spa equipment and report any faults promptly. Assist in evaluating and improving spa processes and product offerings. Required Qualifications & Skills Recognised Spa or Beauty Therapy qualification. Previous experience in a luxury hospitality spa environment is highly advantageous. Knowledge of Africology, TheraVine, and TheraNaka products and protocols. Strong understanding of hygiene and safety procedures. Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail in a high-end setting. Familiarity with in-room spa equipment and guest amenities. Excellent time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proactive, adaptable, and creative approach to guest needs. Loyal, committed, and flexible team player with positive attitude. Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain professional standards at all times. Core Competencies Guest-focused, delivering high standards of service. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Team player with enthusiasm, emotional control, and initiative. Attention to detail and strong organisational discipline.
