Job Description

RPO Recruitments client, a well-established engineering consulting firm in Cape Town is seeking a young, dynamic Structural Engineer to join their team and bring both energy and experience to a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to the structural design of diverse projects Prepare design calculations, drawings, and specifications Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions Ensure compliance with South African design codes and standards Engage with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Requirements: BSc/BEng degree in Civil Engineering At least 8-10 years proven structural design experience across a variety of developments, including residential buildings, office blocks, industrial buildings, data centres, retail centres, motor dealerships, and civil infrastructure projects Candidate or Professional registration with ECSA Proficiency in relevant software such as Prokon, AutoCAD, ETABS, Revit, and MS Office Strong understanding of local design codes, regulations, and industry best practices Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Benefits: Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications Contact RPO Recruitment for our next career opportunity.
