Seeking a Systems Architect to lead the design, integration, and evolution of our internal software ecosystem. You will bridge business and technology, ensuring that CRM, loan management, and data systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with strategic growth. A key focus is on embedding AI and machine-learning solutions to enhance automation, decision-making, and data-driven insights. Responsibilities · Design and oversee core systems, APIs, and data integrations. · Maintain system interoperability with internal and third-party platforms (e.g., CRM, AI tools). · Define standards for scalability, security, and maintainability. · Integrate AI/machine-learning solutions to enhance automation and decision-making. · Lead and mentor a small development team; support feature rollouts and maintain hands-on involvement. · Translate business objectives into technical solutions and model key workflows. · Oversee cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance (POPIA, FICA). · Manage projects and coordinate with vendors; report technical progress to CIO. Key Requirements · Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. · 5 years in software architecture, systems integration, or full-stack development. · Experience with Python/Django, MERN stack, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), API design, and AI/ML integration. · Familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho preferred) and fintech/financial-services experience is a plus. · Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. · Proven ability to deliver production-grade systems and lead small technical teams .
