About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team at a luxury hotel in Cape Town. As a key support role within the Sales & Marketing Department, you will be responsible for driving administrative efficiency, supporting revenue generation, and maintaining strong client relationships across all sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, handling enquiries via phone and email
- Assist Sales Team with FIT, group, and conference reservations
- Prepare rate proposals and follow up to maximise revenue opportunities
- Manage non-residential conference enquiries and support new business development
- Maintain and update customer database and guest enquiry records
- Support administrative and reporting functions (MIS, departmental reports)
- Maintain accurate manual and electronic filing systems
- Assist with inventory management of sales materials and promotional assets
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies, health, and safety standards
- Provide general support to Sales & Marketing management
- Uphold professional standards in appearance, communication, and conduct
- Follow all departmental procedures and operational guidelines
Requirements
- Strong organisational and administrative ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera PMS
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality / Hotel Management
