About the Role
As a Sales Representative at West Coast Personnel, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. You will be responsible for growing existing accounts, identifying new leads, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Call on existing customers and grow their account with us wherever possible
- Look for new leads, cold call, and open new accounts
- Be knowledgeable in our products and provide advice and guidance to customers
- Process your own orders via the tools provided
- Attend open days and show customers when needed
- Perform demos when needed (if our demonstrators are not available)
- Work closely with internal sales to grow the branch and improve service
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times
- Travel daily to and from customers
- Attend company stock takes approx. 2 a year (over weekends)
- Attend regular sales meetings
- Participate in internal (telesales) days from time to time
- Perform adhoc administrative duties
Requirements
- External Sales Experience
- Champion in “Cold Calling” and opening new accounts
- Power Tools experience is essential
- Ability to use power tools for demonstrations
- Technically minded
- Own transport and valid driver’s license required
- Works great independently and as part of a team
- Target orientated, ambitious and driven
- Presentable and well spoken
- Computer literate and able to assist internally from time to time
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role. However, relevant sales experience and a strong understanding of the power tools industry is essential.
