About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. With a strong background in technology and experience conducting user interviews, creating personas, and analyzing data, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user interviews to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences
- Create personas and analyze data to inform product decisions
- Develop and execute product strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing
- Manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in a product-focused role for a tech product
- A Technology background, either as a formal degree or with coding experience
- Experience hiring and leading a team
- Experience conducting user interviews, creating personas, and understanding how to improve technology usability
- Experience working with spreadsheets and data. The ability to create basic financial models, as well as analyze user data
