About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Travel Designer to join a distinguished luxury travel company in Cape Town, where you will be responsible for creating one-of-a-kind journeys across Africa for an international clientele who value refinement, exclusivity and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate and design bespoke itineraries across Africa with a focus on detail, authenticity and elegance
- Offer a personalised, relationship-led service to discerning high-net-worth clients
- Deliver flawless execution of each journey, from first conversation to post-travel follow-up
- Balance creativity, experience and budget to craft exceptional travel experiences
- Cultivate close partnerships with leading lodges, guides and service providers
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in bespoke luxury travel, safari planning or high-end client service
- Extensive; nuanced knowledge of African destinations, especially Southern and East Africa
- Proven ability to engage and build lasting relationships with high-net-worth clients, ideally in a boutique or founder-led environment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural flair for hospitality and service excellence
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Zoho or similar), itinerary builders (e.g. WETU, Safari Portal) and Microsoft Office

- Valid passport
- Reliable internet connection for hybrid working
- Valid drivers licence
