Job Description
Responsibilities:

Provide support for clients experiencing technical issues.
-
Diagnose and resolve network and system issues.
-
Assist with the implementation of new technologies.
-
Troubleshoot and maintain routers, Layer 2/3 switches, and other networking devices.
-
Work with routing protocols, including OSPF, Switching, and BGP.
-
Set up wireless routers, bridges, repeaters, and access points.
-
Enhance network security measures.
-
Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout ticket resolution.
-
Document all support tickets thoroughly.
-
Coordinate with ISPs on the FNO network.
-
Build positive and collaborative relationships with team members and clients.
-
Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
-
Work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with the team.
-
Provide after-hours support as needed.
-
Remotely administer and manage client equipment, including UBNT devices, BDCOM, and other fiber equipment vendors.
Requirements:
-
Experience in network troubleshooting and system administration.
-
Intermediate knowledge of routers and networking devices.
-
Understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, Switching, and BGP.
-
Ability to set up and configure wireless networking hardware.
- Bachelors in Computer Science or a related qualification
