About the Role
The Company is seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join their team, supporting the financial operations of a technical management consultancy. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of daily financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture all daily financial transactions into the accounting system
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Process all supplier invoices and prepare the weekly payment runs
- Issue invoices to clients and follow up on all outstanding payments
- Assist the finance team with VAT preparation and tax compliance
Requirements
- Grade 12 with a pass in Mathematics or Accounting
- Relevant Diploma in Bookkeeping or Finance
