Junior Shop & Sales Assistant Centurion Join our team at Patriot | The Marksman Boutique Irene, Centurion Patriot | The Marksman Boutique, a premium outdoor retailer based in Irene, Centurion, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Junior Shop & Sales Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales experience in the PCP air rifle industry who wants to be part of a high-end brand known for quality products and strong customer service. The successful candidate will be involved in sales, customer service, working on the cash register, keeping the store neat and tidy, and assisting with airgun repairs when required. Please note that longer working hours may be required from time to time, especially during expos, competitions, and industry events. Requirements & Skills Strong sales skills with the ability to persuade and close deals. Friendly and confident when working with customers. Good knowledge of PCP air rifles will be an advantage. Air rifle repair skills will be an advantage. Good organisational and admin skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Fluent in Afrikaans and able to speak English confidently. Duties & Responsibilities Assist clients with queries in the shop and answer product-related questions. Drive sales by promoting products and services while representing the Patriot brand professionally. Contact potential customers via email, phone, or messaging. Process and submit orders to ensure customers receive their products on time. Assist with the day-to-day running of the shop. Handle customer queries and complaints professionally. Keep the shop and range neat, clean, and organised at all times. Assist with stock takes and stock control. Operate the cash register and process payments accurately. Welcome clients and ensure all required paperwork is completed when purchasing licensed goods. Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations. Stay up to date with new products and industry news. Travel to trade shows and events when required to represent the company and promote products.
