Job Description
An industry-leading company situated in Gauteng is currently seeking the expertise of an experienced Mechanical Draughtsman to join their team in Pretoria.
Responsibilities:
- Review plans and specifications according to the plan.
- Prepare plans, details, specifications and cost estimates of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system.
- Provide technical advice to the staff designer, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider regarding the installation and maintenance of the MEP System.
- Analyze Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.
- Identify problems in the design, planning, management and delivering multiple projects.
- Plan, organize the review and evaluate the work of consultants, contractors, and others. MEP Engineer knows MS Office, AutoCAD, and Construction Project management software.
- MEP Engineer has to prepare and deliver effective oral presentations whenever required
Requirements:
- 2 + Years experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman working with Building services projects
- 2 + Years experience in the Design and Draughting of Building services
- Produce concept, tender and technical mechanical engineering drawing for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers etc.
- Revit MEP 2018 or higher compulsory, minimum 2-year experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in building service (HVAC)
- Strong Co-ordination skills
- Draughting diploma will be an advantage.
