About the Role
Join our team as a Centurion: Project Planner in an exciting opportunity to work on engineering projects. With 5+ years of experience in project planning, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects, and providing updates to senior project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with approved work breakdown structures (WBS) in MS Project.
- Update and maintain project schedules with actual progress data and forecasting dates received from engineering, expeditor, procurement, OEM’s, and fabricators.
- Assist with resource loading, man-hour forecasting, and progress measurement.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform critical path and float analysis to support decision-making.
- Track engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site activities against the baseline programme.
- Provide updates to Senior Project Manager.
- Prepare progress reports, schedule updates, and look-ahead plans for management and clients.
- Support cost and resource planning in collaboration with project controls and management teams.
- Assist with change management, including schedule impact assessments.
- Ensure planning aligns with contractual milestones and reporting requirements.
- Participate in project review meetings and planning workshops.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Planner with demonstrated proficiency in MS Project and at least five years of proven experience within an EPC environment, supported by a strong technical background.
- Strong understanding of engineering project life cycles and execution methodologies.
- Solid analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- High attention to detail, structured working style, and deadline-driven mindset.
