Job Description

The SAP Data Migration Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of data migration activities as part of an SAP transformation programme, with a specific focus on migrating from SAP ECC to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP). The role acts as the single point of accountability for migration delivery, ensuring data accuracy, quality, and alignment with business and functional requirements. SCOPE OF WORK Act as the single point of contact for all data migration activities across the programme Lead and manage the development and execution of the Data Migration Framework , coordinating tasks across all data migration consultants Plan, execute, and govern data migration cycles including mock runs, reconciliations, and cutover activities Take overall responsibility for data quality , including the analysis, identification, tracking, and resolution of data issues Work closely with functional and implementation teams to manage touchpoints, dependencies, and data readiness Collaborate with business stakeholders to map data schemas between legacy systems and target EC / ECP solutions Identify and resolve missing, inconsistent, or mismatched data , recommending remediation strategies where required Manage data validation, reconciliation, and sign-off processes with business and functional leads Ensure adherence to migration governance, controls, and audit requirements Support cutover planning and go-live readiness related to data migration REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Proven experience as a Data Migration Lead on SAP transformation programmes Hands-on experience executing data migrations from SAP ECC to SuccessFactors EC and ECP Previous experience working with a manual, spreadsheet-driven data migration process is highly preferred Strong understanding of SAP HR / HCM data structures and payroll-related data Experience managing and coordinating multiple migration resources and workstreams Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and data quality management skills Ability to translate business requirements into technical data mapping and migration rules Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business teams ADVANTAGEOUS: Experience with SAP data migration tools or accelerators Exposure to data governance, controls, and compliance within HR or payroll transformations Prior involvement in large-scale or global SAP SuccessFactors implementations
