About the Role
Cadcon (Pty) Ltd, a Steel Construction company based in Lyttelton, Pretoria, is seeking an experienced Welding Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and documenting the fabrication process to ensure all projects meet client specifications and comply with our Quality/HSE Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and inspect the fabrication process
- Document and report any deviations or non-compliance
- Verify that all projects are completed in accordance with client specifications and company standards
- Conduct quality control checks on welds and fabrications
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results
Requirements
- Computer Literate (Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Minimum 3 years experience in the Steel Construction & Fabrication Industry
- Registered at SAIW as Level 1 or Level 2 Inspector
- Knowledge of Welding Processes / Procedures & Methods
- Ability to Read and Interpret Drawings
