About the Role
Cape Auto Electric CC, a well-established auto electrical company with over 50 years of industry experience, is seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to join their team. We require an individual with extensive experience in heavy commercial vehicle industry and relevant trade qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosis and repair of electrical faults
- Test, service, repair and adjust the following: cut outs, regulators, solenoid switches, panel instruments, circuits, switches, lamps, horns, heater fan, relays, rheostats, indicators, windshield wiper motors, electric fuel pump and transmission controls & alternators and their regulators
- Field service, breakdown/repair
Requirements
- Trade Qualification
- S.A Citizenship
- Valid drivers license
- Minimum of 5 years auto electrical experience in the heavy commercial vehicle industry

- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
