Job Description
Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading engineering consultancy on a high-impact energy storage project in South Africa. Were looking for a Quality Officer to join a groundbreaking Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) initiative as it enters the construction phase.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a national infrastructure development effort, working across three active project sites within close proximity to one another in the Northern Cape.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct on-site quality inspections and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015
-
Support and monitor the implementation of QMS across all project phases
-
Maintain quality documentation and reporting systems
-
Liaise with site teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure quality objectives are met

Identify and assist in resolving non-conformances
Minimum Requirements:
-
Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
-
Minimum 5 years on-site experience in the construction industry
-
Proven experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
-
Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards
-
Willingness to work across multiple construction sites
-
Valid drivers license
Preferred Background:
Experience in large-scale energy or infrastructure projects, such as:
