Job Summary
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Data Discovery & Exploration
- Dive deep into massive datasets using Python, R, or SAS. Clean, analyse, and bring structure to unstructured chaos – and discover patterns that others miss.
- Model Creation & Innovation
- Design predictive models that help forecast customer behaviour, credit risk, churn, and financial outcomes. Think machine learning, regression, clustering, and beyond.
- Data Storytelling & Visualisation
- Bring data to life with clear, compelling dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau. Help business leaders make sense of the numbers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Team up with actuaries, finance experts, and senior consultants to shape innovative client solutions – your input matters.
- Constant Learning
- Grow fast through mentorship, exposure to high-stakes projects, and access to structured development opportunities.
What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or similar (PhD in progress? Even better!)
- 2 years of real-world experience in data science or machine learning
- Fluency in Python or R (bonus points for both)
- Solid grasp of statistical modelling and machine learning concepts
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, Spark, or Hadoop is advantageous
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools
- Financial modelling or consulting exposure? That’ll make your profile shine
