About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Manager to lead our in-store bakery team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily bakery operations from production planning to quality control, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional baked goods that rival the best in the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bakery operations from production planning to quality control
- Ensure freshness, consistency, and presentation of all baked products
- Manage stock levels, waste control, and cost efficiency
- Lead, train, and motivate a skilled bakery team
- Work closely with the Fresh Manager to align product variety and seasonal offerings
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a bakery management role
- Strong product knowledge of breads, pastries, cakes, and confectionery
- A passion for artisanal quality and customer satisfaction
- Leadership ability and a flair for creativity
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior management role
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
