Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver with a valid South African driver’s license and a minimum of three (3) years’ driving experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation and delivery of goods to clients while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance with road safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with South African road traffic laws and company policies. Collect, transport, and deliver parcels, documents, or goods to customers within designated routes and timeframes. Conduct daily vehicle inspections (pre- and post-trip checks) and report any mechanical issues or damages. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times. Follow delivery schedules and communicate any delays to the supervisor promptly. Adhere to health and safety standards and company procedures. Minimum Requirements Valid South African driver’s license (Code B or higher; PDP advantageous). Minimum of 3 years’ proven driving experience (experience in logistics or printing & packagingindustry preferred). Clear driving record with no major traffic violations. Good knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns. Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (additional local languages advantageous). Must be available immediately Skills & Competencies Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail. Customer-focused with good interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Honest, reliable, and punctual. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
