About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Durban, KZN Inland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance and achieving volume and net profit targets in the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with strong sales background and excellent communication skills to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate achievement of agreed targets in the region
- Achieve volume and net profit targets by driving sales performance
- Report to Sales Manager on changes in strategic direction, structures, and operating models
- Provide weekly/monthly reporting to area Sales Manager
- Identify and manage creation of new business opportunities for the region
- Ensure all operations are in line with company policies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with client needs
- Meet sales targets as set out by the employer
- Conduct cold calling, make contact, and present proposals to prospective clients
- Achieve daily/weekly customer call target
- Meet target of prospect meetings and site acquisitions
- Travel throughout Northern and Central KZN
- Complete asset register and reporting requirements
Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in Sales
- Experience in Fuel industry (advantageous)
- Valid drivers license
- Strong sales background with solid record
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
