About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer Manager to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our technical leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of software solutions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage software development teams and projects
  • Design systems that are scalable, portable, and maintainable
  • Develop and implement .NET Core applications using C#
  • Construct and use web services: REST, SOAP
  • Query Microsoft SQL server, store procedures, and functions
  • Implement MVC, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and CSS frontend technologies
  • Exposure to mobile development either native or hybrid
  • Manage CI/CD Pipelines using SVN and Git

Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience in software development
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented principles
  • Familiarity with .NET framework and .NET Core
  • Experience with constructing and using web services: REST, SOAP
  • Microsoft SQL server querying, store procedures, and functions
  • MVC, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and CSS frontend technologies
  • Exposure to mobile development either native or hybrid
  • Ability to design systems that are scalable, portable, and maintainable

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in the Software Development field

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: R600 000 – R900 000 per annum
