About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Camp Manager to join our luxury safari lodge in KwaZulu-Natal. As a hands-on operational role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily lodge activities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and supporting overall camp operations within a luxury safari environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily camp operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Host guests and ensure a warm, personalised, and memorable stay
- Coordinate with all departments including housekeeping, kitchen, and guiding teams
- Manage guest check-ins, departures, and special requests
- Maintain high standards of lodge presentation, cleanliness, and service
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and basic administrative duties
- Support and supervise lodge staff, ensuring service excellence
- Handle guest queries and resolve any issues professionally
Requirements
- Minimum 23 years experience in a luxury lodge environment
- Valid drivers licence essential
- Must be based in KwaZulu-Natal or willing to relocate (preference for KZN-based candidates)
- Ability to work in a remote, live-in environment
- Professional, well-presented, and guest-focused
