About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a qualified and experienced Tax Manager to join their client’s team in Kwa-Zulu Natal (Durban or Pietermaritzburg). The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all tax-related activities for the company
- Prepare and review tax returns, reports, and other financial documents
- Develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial efficiency
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
- Represent the company in tax audits and investigations
- Provide tax advice and guidance to internal teams and clients
- Work closely with external tax advisors and consultants
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Honors Degree preferred within Tax
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
