About the Role
Liham Consulting Pty (Ltd) is seeking an experienced Tool, Jig & Die Maker to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for designing and manufacturing tools, jigs and dies, as well as troubleshooting tooling issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and manufacturing tools, jigs and dies
- Troubleshooting tooling issues
- Modifying and repairing existing tools, jigs and dies
- Constructing and repairing dies for plastic injection molding and pressings
- Designing and manufacturing jigs and fixtures
- Updating tooling records
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of tool design and manufacturing
- 5 Years experience in toolmaking
- Proficiency in EDM Spark eroder, Wire Cutter
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Understanding of CNC Machine operation
- Knowledge of injection Moulding processes and/or press tooling/stamoing
