About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our client’s team in Durbanville. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for performing various financial and administrative tasks to support the finance department and ensure the smooth functioning of financial operations in the wholesale industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Handling accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconciling bank statements and tracking financial transactions
- Assisting with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry in accounting software
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
Requirements
- Matric Minimum, Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or related field is a bonus
- Previous experience working as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role and environment/industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, SAP, Pastel, AccPacc etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
