About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team in East London. As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing diesel engines and equipment across various industries, including mining, earthmoving, construction, and agriculture.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines, vehicles, and equipment systems
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections for optimal performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Advise clients on maintenance and repair solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
* Relevant diesel technician qualification or trade certification
* Experience with mining, construction, or agricultural diesel equipment
* Familiarity with East London / Mthatha area preferred
* Strong problem-solving and technical skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Open to all races and genders
