About the Role
The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our security operations in East London, providing top-notch service to clients while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Security advice to clients
- Threat and Risk assessments/reporting
- Completion of daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Client liaison and professional client relationship and attending client meeting
- Manpower Management and Rostering
- Equipment Management and control and management of company vehicles
- Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints
- Ensure that contractual requirements are met at all times
- Incident investigation, reporting and management
- Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code
- Maintenance of the ISO 9001 quality system
- Initiating and chairing disciplinary hearings
- Ensuring Security Officers problems that are reported are resolved
- Ensure complete understanding and enforcement of client SLA
- Ensure that all company and client SOPs are followed
- Ensure training takes place as and when required
- After hour visits and assisting with shift changes as a standby manager
- Ensuring that BPC Policies and Procedures are implemented and adhered to
- Attending to CCMA and representing BPC
- Compliance with Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
Requirements
- PSIRA certification Grade A
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Expert level knowledge of MS Office
- Relevant experience in a Managerial or similar position of minimum three years
- First aid and fire-fighting training (advantageous)
- The ability to communicate and present at all levels
- The ability to work under pressure
- Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record
