Job Description
TEMP RECEPTIONIST/EAST LONDON (4-Month Fixed-Term Contract) – To provide professional front-desk and administrative support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the reception area while delivering excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and staff. Start date 4th May till 7th August
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Xhosa
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good organisational and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls promptly
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services
- Schedule and manage meeting room bookings
- Provide basic administrative support (filing, scanning, data capturing, etc.)
- Assist with office coordination tasks as required
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure security procedures are followed
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
Remuneration R8,000 per month
