About the Role

A well-established player in the healthcare and pharmaceutical distribution sector is looking for a Backshop Sales Representative to join their team. This role focuses on building strong relationships with independent pharmacies and dispensing doctors, rather than corporate retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Call on independent pharmacies and dispensing doctors
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Promote and sell a range of prescription and over-the-counter products
• Drive consistent sales growth within your territory
• Educate clients on product benefits and usage
• Identify opportunities to expand product uptake
• Manage your territory effectively and independently

Requirements

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales (backshop / independent channel)
• Minimum ±1 year successful track record in a similar role
• Strong understanding of pharma products and sales cycles
• Experience dealing with independent practices (non-corporate) is essential
• Candidates with strong product knowledge but limited experience may be considered
