About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Nurture Aurora in Gqebhera, Eastern Cape. As a dedicated leader with a passion for physical rehabilitation and patient-centered care, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, measurable outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess each patient’s functional needs
- Design evidence-based treatment plans
- Guide patients toward greater independence in everyday activities
- Contribute to person-centred rehabilitation and measurable, high-quality outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy with community-service year completed
- Registered with the HPCSA as an independent practitioner and covered by malpractice insurance
- CPD portfolio up to date in line with HPCSA standards
- Bobath / Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) training an advantage
- Basic or intermediate wheelchair assessment/prescription skills beneficial
- FCE training beneficial
- Driving assessment training beneficial

- Formal education/certifications: Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy
Salary & Benefits
- Minimum salary: R28 569,34
