About the Role
IvyGoal Education, an international tutoring company with locations worldwide, is seeking 2-3 part-time South African online tutors to join our team. We are looking for highly advanced individuals in English who can provide excellent online teaching services, particularly in ESL and TOEFL/IELTS preparation. Our ideal candidate will be accountable, comfortable with online teaching tools, and passionate about teaching English online.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality online English lessons to students
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans using Zoom and Canvas LMS
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintain a professional and respectful learning environment
Requirements
- Highly Advanced in English (native speaker or near-native fluency)
- Accountable with minimal supervision required
- Comfortable with online teaching tools, including Zoom and Canvas LMS
- Love and care for students as if they were family members
Qualifications
- No formal education requirements mentioned
Salary & Benefits
$6-$10 per hour based on experience and class difficulty.
