About the Role
The successful candidate will be an experienced, motivated individual responsible for managing stock levels in our Heidelberg warehouse. This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Book in stock against GRV Supply and prepare invoice for payment.
- Process order and reconcile, transfer, adjust and maintain stock.
- Resolving stock queries.
- Analysing of surplus inventory to determine usage levels and stock conditions.
- Coordinate transfers in and out of the warehouse, tracking all movements.
- Make purchase requests, contract vendors and ensure flow of goods.
- Working with Sales staff to ensure inventory levels are set appropriately to accommodate upcoming projects.
- Coordinate with shipping to ensure all receiving shipments are moving in and out of warehouse as scheduled.
- Generate reports on inventory balance and shortages.
- Analyse Stock Levels and pricing.
- Work with internal staff / branches for efficient supply chain.
- Analyse forecast received.
- Prepare purchase order in accordance with stock requirements.
- Consider lead time in stock levels.
- Follow up on outstanding purchase orders.
- General admin duties.
- Providing information needed for budget preparations on an annual basis.
Requirements
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Computer literate in Pastel, Outlook & Word.
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Strong Administrative skills.
- Accuracy and detail orientated.
- Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communications skills.
- Trustworthy, reliable, self-disciplined with high integrity.
- Previous inventory or warehousing experience.
