About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead our Tool Room and Machine Shop team in Ekurhuleni. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient supply of tooling requirements, developing team potential, and driving project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team effectively to achieve project goals
- Develop and implement tool manufacturing plans
- Manage material planning and tool manufacturing planning
- Provide accurate delivery dates for tools
- Manage committed delivery dates for tools
- Estimate machining times and costings
- Utilize CAD software and other related technologies in tool manufacturing and maintenance
- Ensure attention to detail and organisational skills in team management
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lead a team effectively
- Previous management experience essential
- Proven experience in driving and motivating a team to supply tooling requirements
- Experience in Tooling ability to make tools
