About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Production Manager to join our team in the agricultural industry. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning and monitoring various aspects of our farm’s operations, including pest management, fertilization, and crop programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor pest management-, fertilization- and crop programs
- Monitor crop trials and plant activity
- Supervise technical staff and production processes
- Ensure compliance with global standards such as Global GAP, Farming for the Future, DAFF, and SIZA Environmental
- Develop and implement standard operational procedures and training for production practices
- Acquire and manage knowledge and products for pest management and fertilization
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Agriculture (preferable)
- Strong numerical skills, particularly in Excel and digital monitoring systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership potential
- Adaptable, well-organized, and passionate about sustainable agriculture production
