About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de Partie to join our luxury game reserve team in the Eastern Cape. As a key member of our culinary team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a high-end safari environment while contributing to an exceptional guest dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and take ownership of a designated section within the kitchen
• Prepare and present dishes to the highest quality and presentation standards
• Assist with daily mise en place and service preparation
• Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Support the Sous Chef and senior kitchen team during service
• Ensure stock is properly stored, rotated, and utilised efficiently
• Assist with minimising waste and maintaining portion control
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines consistently
• Assist with dietary requirements and special guest requests
• Maintain smooth and efficient section operations during service

Requirements

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen. Experience within a lodge or 5-star hospitality environment advantageous.
