Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Witbank. The ideal candidate will design and manage lighting installations at Eskom Plants, oversee electrical systems, including HV/MV/LT terminations, cable racking, and wiring for various buildings, and ensure compliance with hazardous location regulations. A strong background in electrical engineering and experience in power generation plants are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design and management of lighting systems and installations.
• Oversee electrical engineering projects, including inspections on hazardous locations and certifications.
• Manage the installation and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
• Perform cable racking, reticulation, and HV/MV/LT terminations and joints (110V22kV).
• Supervise wiring and installations for industrial, domestic, and commercial buildings.
• Manage the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of Motor Control Centres (MCCs) and distribution boards.
• Execute substation and mini-substation projects.
• Provide technical expertise for fabrication and structural repairs on-site.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in lighting systems, particularly in power generation plants.
• Strong background in hazardous location inspection and certification.
• Knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems for quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical engineering projects in industrial settings.
• CIDB Grading experience advantageous (6CE, 5EP, 6SQ).
• Immediate availability is preferred.
