About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Factory Control Supervisor to join our team at BLACK TIE RECRUIT. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing entry and exit control at our factory turnstile and main entrance, ensuring the overall safety and control of the factory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee access control at the factory entrance and turnstile.
- Monitor employee entry and exit in line with company procedures.
- Manage visitor sign-in and ensure all required approvals and permits are in place.
- Control contractor access and verify authorization before entry.
- Conduct bag checks in accordance with company policy.
- Monitor CCTV and report suspicious or irregular activity.
- Check PPE compliance at entry points before allowing access.
- Record, report, and escalate incidents accurately and timeously.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and notify management where required.
- Maintain accurate access records, incident logs, and control documentation.
- Enforce factory entry procedures consistently, professionally, and fairly.
- Support the prevention of theft, unauthorized access, and breaches of company procedure.
Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric
Minimum 3 years experience in a factory, warehouse, site control, or similar operational environment.
Experience in access control, incident reporting, and CCTV monitoring.
Ability to enforce rules and procedures in a professional manner.
Physically able to stand for extended periods.
