About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and uptime of production installations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems within our European production facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems
- Diagnose and resolve faults, breakdowns, and system failures
- Work on control systems, panels, sensors, and drives
- Support production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with mechanical technicians and operators
- Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards (e.g. NEN 3140)
- Accurately document maintenance activities and interventions
Requirements
- N3–N4 in Electrical Engineering + Trade Test (Electrician)
- Equivalent to MBO 4 Elektrotechniek
- Experience in industrial environments (manufacturing, FMCG, or chemical)
- Strong fault-finding and analytical skills
- Willingness to work in a 5-shift system
- Afrikaans-speaking OR good understanding and ability to communicate in Afrikaans advantageous in order pick up Dutch more easily
- Must be South African and aged 29 or younger unless you hold an EU passport
- Open to relocating to the Netherlands

- €3,500 gross monthly salary (base)
- Shift allowance: +20% – 40%
