Equipment:
16 T Tracked/rail mounted excavator with Grapple saw
16 T Tracked/rail mounted chipper
16 T standard tracked excavator with Grapple saw
3 T excavator with rotating Grapple

Main tasks:
Mobilise & demobilise plant & machinery to and from site.
Carry out tree felling operations using machinery
Transport timber & woodchip (biomass) to designated locations (Power plant)
Carry out groundwork activities which includes timber processing
 
Responsibilities:

• Set up machinery for operation, Maintain machinery & equipment
• Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions and perform maintenance
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor & comply with all safety and health regulations,
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area

 
Qualifications:

• CSCS Machine operation (360 excavator, teleporter)
• Full clean driving licence
• Heavy good vehicle licence is a distinct advantage
