About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and guest-focused Barman for a luxury wine estate & hotel in Franschhoek, offering an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious wine estate and grow your hospitality career.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards
- Deliver exceptional guest service and bar experiences
- Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked bar area
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
- Recommend beverages and provide product knowledge to guests
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and responsible alcohol service standards
- Assist the Food & Beverage team during service periods
- Handle guest requests and queries professionally
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of bar areas
Requirements
Previous experience as a Barman or Bartender
Luxury hospitality or fine dining experience advantageous
Strong knowledge of cocktails, beverages and wine service
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Hospitality qualification advantageous
Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Salary & Benefits
R6,500 – R7,500 per month (DOE)
