Duty Manager Franschhoek Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and experienced Duty Manager to join a prestigious luxury wine estate in Franschhoek. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high standards of service across all departments. Requirements: Previous experience in a managerial role within a luxury hospitality environment Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Professional appearance and guest-focused attitude Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Own reliable transport Responsibilities: Manage daily lodge operations and supervise staff to ensure smooth service delivery Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism Ensure adherence to all operational policies, procedures, and quality standards Support and mentor team members, providing guidance and training as required Coordinate between departments to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency Monitor and report on performance metrics, staff productivity, and guest satisfaction Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards Assist with reservations, events, and special functions as required Perform shift handovers and maintain accurate operational records Package: Salary: R20,000 R23,000 per month (negotiable depending on experience) 3% Provident Fund contribution Annual increases and performance-related bonuses Meal allowance of R25 per shift (for salaries below R25;000) Subsidised staff transport available on Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch, and Wellington routes Live-out position To apply: Please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo today Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.
